Vanilla ice cream recipe

 

Ingredients Required:

6 Large Egg yolks 
100g sugar 
400ml milk 
100ml thick cream 
2 vanilla beans

 

Making the Ice Cream:

  • slit the vanilla beans down the middle, in the lengthwise (to get to take out the small black “caviar” type seeds inside that gives taste)
  • boil the milk with the vanilla 
  • Get a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture whitens 
  • pour the milk into the bowl, mix well 
  • pour the mixture into the saucepan and heat, stirring until the mixture forms a film on the back of a wooden spoon
  • stir the cream and let cool 
  • Let it cool and refrigerate
